  • NATIONAL LIVELIHOOD SUPPORT FUND (NLSF)

Who may borrow: For NLSF-MP, conduits are rural financing institutions, cooperatives, and NGOs; the end-borrowers are small farmers, enterprising poor, youth graduates of TESDA and NYC (preferably out-of-school youth). For LDPO, all active members and former OWWA LDPO borrowers with good repayment records can avail of the program

Loan amount: For NLSF-MP, loan amount of program depends on the credit evaluation, program plans, and number of target end-borrowers but not exceeding its tiotal asset; end-borrowers can loan a maximum of P50,000. For LDPO, the individual borrower can loan a maximum amount of P200,000; and an organized and registered group of five members can loan a maximum amount of P1 million

Collateral/Security: For NLSF-MP program partners, continuing deed assignment of sub-borrower's promissory notes and underlying collaterals, post-dated checks and chattel properties,stock inventories, receivables, insurance/pre need policies or other types of collateral accepted by the NLSF conduits

Interest Rates and fees: For NLSF-MP, omnibus credit line is 9% per annum and soft oan is 4% per annum. For LDPO, (NLSF to program partners) interest rate is 3% per annum to be amortized with principal, and the service fee is 1% per annum to be amortized with principal and the service fee is 1% per annum; for conduits to OFW, the interest rate is 9% per annum to be paid on maturity of short-term loan, service fee of 2% per annum payable upon release, and facilitation fee of 2% per annum payable upon release, and facilitation of 3% one time payment for the entire loan term

Terms of payment: For NLSF-MP, loan term depends on the nature of the soft loan utilization but not exceeding 3 years
